Compassion in Community Action -Free support service for parents/carers

This is a funded project which offers a free 8-week course to parents in Torbay who have children struggling with their mental health. The project aims to offer early help support to families, with education and skills to manage some of these struggles within the home, as well as equipping the parents with tools and techniques to manage their own wellbeing better. They are also invited to become part of a peer-to-peer support network with other parents in the bay, to create localised support, which has been so helpful for the many families who are isolated with their difficulties.
