Recycling Workshop - June 2020
The children in Year 6 were really well behaved and seemed very engaged and interested with the workshop. They were enthusiastic, asked some really well thought out (and sometimes quite deep) questions. I noted how helpful and kind they were. They were a total credit to the school 😊
The children in Year 2- what an enthusiastic bunch! Lovely class, loved being pirates- we had a great adventure, they were very caring about nature and there was a lot of very interesting comments and questions about the topic matter. What a top bunch of kids! 😊
I look forward to the next time we work together.
Have a great rest of the Summer term

Warburtons - Newton Abbot Depot
We had some visitors from the Warburton Depot in Newton Abbot visit the Y3/4 classes. They made fresh bread with the children and talked to the children about having a healthy lifestyle. We received lovely letters of feedback from them after their visits.
Autumn term 2017
"During my short time at Furzeham Primary as a trainee teacher I received a warm welcome to the school community by friendly staff and children. The staff were kind enough to offer their support and guidance throughout to help me develop as a teacher, nothing was too much trouble. I had a remarkably positive experience at Furzeham Primary and would highly-recommend it as a high-quality learning environment. I can not wait to visit again."

Christingle Service - All Saints Church - 6th Dec 2015
"I just wanted to say how lovely it was to see the school choir at All Saints Christingle Service on Sunday. The children sang beautifully to a packed out church, and made the occasion
extra special. Well done to you all!"

Parents Showcase
Throughout the year here at Furzeham Primary we showcase our wonderful children and all their learning. We invite parents into the classroom to look at the pupils books/displays/ art work and we may also sing songs or read poetry. Sometimes the children serve refreshments!
"Wow!! You can see the enthusiasm and skill the children have put into their first terms work - I cant wait to see next term!"
"It encourages the children to be outgoing and independent (as well as being enjoyable)"
Parent 'Meet and Greet' Sessions
Our parent meet and greet sessions are a great success here at Furzeham Primary School. It's a great way to meet the new teacher and to find out all about the new year ahead. Parents can talk to the teachers and look at all the wonderful resources we have in school.
"It was great to look around the environment where my child learns, to see the wonderful resources available to all the children. Mrs. Hewitt gave a great informative talk at the beginning, very positive. There were opportunity to ask general questions about how the children learn, particularly maths." September 2015
"It was really good to meet all of the staff and to visit the classroom. All the information was really helpful too."
